The Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) for visitors to Bhutan is set at US $100 per person per night. Concessions are available for children under 12 years of age. In addition, there is a non-refundable one-time visa application fee of US $40.
Example Calculation:
For a group of 4 or more people visiting Bhutan for 5 nights, the total cost per person would be calculated as follows:
- SDF (Sustainable Development Fee _ Tax for the Royal Government of Bhutan):
US $100 x 5 nights = US $500 - Visa Application Fee:
US $40 x 1 = US $40 - Tour Package:

The quoted price includes the following services:
